Egypt's c.bank reshuffles board

Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said Wednesday it has appointed two deputy governors in a reshuffle of the bank's board members, as per a presidential decree.

The central bank appointed Lubna Mohamed Helal and Gamal Negm as deputy governors and named five board members.

Meanwhile, the board included Sherif Samy, head of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA).

The new members’ term will commence on 27 November.

Earlier last month, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi issued a dcree appointing Tarek Amer as  central bank governor, in place of Hisham Ramez.
