Cairo - Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) announced it would issue EGP 11.5 billion treasury bills on Thursday in coordination with the Ministry of Finance (MoF).
The bills will be offered through two tranches: an 182-day tranche worth EGP 5.5 billion and a 364-day tranche worth EGP 6 billion.
Earlier, the CBE decided to liberalize the Egyptian pound's exchange rate and to hike key interest rates to ease down inflation in the Egyptian market.
