Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt will issue treasury bonds at a total value of EGP4.25 billion on behalf of the Ministry of Finance on Monday.
The EGP 4.25 billion will be auctioned through two tranches: the first one will be for three years at EGP3 billion, while the second will be for a year and half at EGP1.25 billion
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 191.6 billion, or 6.8% of GDP, during the fourth quarter of 2015/16 compared to EGP249 billion in the year-ago period.
