Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt said it will issue treasury bonds Monday at a total value of EGP 4.750 billion.
Five-year bonds will be issued at a value reaching EGP 3 billion, while 10-year bonds will be issued at EGP 1.750 billion.
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 138.5 billion, or 4.9% of gross domestic product (GDP) within 5 months during the period July – November 2015, against EGP 107.9 billion or 4.4% of GDP for the similar period of the previous year.
