Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt said it will issue treasury bonds Monday at a total value of EGP 4.750 billion.
Five-year bonds will be issued at a value reaching EGP 3 billion, while 10-year bonds will be issued at EGP 1.750 billion.
A third tranche of seven-year bonds will be issued at a value reaching EGP 2.250 billion.
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 96.7 billion, or 3.4% of gross domestic product (GDP) within 4 months during the period July -October 2015, against EGP 84.5 billion or 3.5% of GDP for the similar period of the previous year.
