Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt said it will issue treasury bonds Monday at a total value of EGP 6 billion.
The auction will be offered through three tranches: one-and-half year bonds worth EGB1 billion, three-year bonds worth EGP3.25 billion, and seven-year bonds worth EGP1.75
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 138.5 billion, or 4.9% of gross domestic product (GDP) during July – November 2015/16, against EGP 107.9 billion or 3.5% of GDP for the similar period of the previous year.
