Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt said it will issue treasury bonds Monday at a total value of EGP 7.250 billion.
One and half-year bonds will be issued at a value reaching EGP 2 billion, while 3-year bonds will be issued at EGP 3 billion.
A third tranche of seven-year bonds will be issued at a value reaching EGP 2.250 billion.
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 68.3 billion, or 2.4% of gross domestic product (GDP), during the period July - August 2015.
