Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt said it will issue treasury bills on Sunday at a total value of EGP 7.75 billion.
The EGP 7.75 billion will be offered through two auctions: a 91-day auction worth EGP 3 billion and a 266-day auction worth EGP 4.75 billion
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 138.5 billion, or 4.9% of gross domestic product (GDP), during the period July-August 2015, against EGP 107.9 billion, or 4.4% of GDP, in the corresponding period a year earlier.
