Cairo – Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt said it will issue treasury bonds Monday at a total value of EGP 7 billion.
1.5-year bonds will be issued at a value reaching EGP 2 billion, while 3-year bonds will be issued at EGP 3 billion.
Meanwhile, a 7-year third tranche will be issued at EGP 2 billion.
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP 78.3 billion, or 2.8% of gross domestic product (GDP) within the first quarter of the fiscal year 2015/16.
