Cairo-Mubasher: The Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) said it would auction EGP9.5 billion in treasury bills on Sunday.
The EGP9.5 billion will be offered through two auctions: a 91-day auction at a value of EGP4.5 billion and a 273-day auction at a value of EGP5 billion.
The country's budget deficit widened to EGP191.6 billion, or 6.8% of GDP within the first half of 2015/16, against EGP159.1 billion or 6.5% of GDP for the year-ago period.
