Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s cabinet approved a draft presidential decree regarding a grant (financial assistance) agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
The grant will be directed to upgrade Cairo Metro Line I with a value of EUR 3.005 million in the first phase of modernisation, according to a statement on Wednesday.
The project aims at rehabilitating the existing infrastructure of Cairo Metro Line I, including signalling, telecoms, controls, and track works.
