Cairo – Mubasher: Total cement sales in Egypt declined by 7.71% quarter-on-quarter to 10.9 million tonnes during the first quarter of the fiscal year 2019.
Total cement production in Egypt went down 8.08% quarter-on-quarter to 11.2 million tonnes in Q1-19, according to the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
The average price of cement per tonne levelled down 0.75% to EGP 1,190 from January to the end of March 2019, compared to the previous quarter.
