Egypt’s core CPI up 2.81% in October – CBE

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s core CPI computed by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) increased by 2.81% m-o-m in October 2016 compared with 1.39%m-o-m in the previous month.

The annual rate increased to 15.72% in October from 13.93% in September, according to CBE.

Earlier, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said the country’s CPI (inflation indicator) went up by 1.8% or 200.9 points in October compared with 1.3% in September
