Egypt’s core annual inflation falls to 11.59% in March - CBE

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s core annual inflation retreated to 11.59% in March 2018, compared to 11.88% a month earlier.

The monthly core inflation recorded 0.7% last month, down from 0.39% in February 2018, the Central bank of Egypt (CBE) said in a statement.  

Earlier this morning, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) announced that Egypt’s annual inflation dropped to 13.1% year-on-year in March 2018 from 32.5%.
