Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s domestic liquidity grew by 13.3% year-on-year at the end of December 2019, according to data from the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE).
Domestic liquidity went up to EGP 4.11 trillion at the end of December, from EGP 3.62 trillion in the year-ago period.
On a monthly basis, liquidity edged up in December, compared to EGP 4.05 trillion in November.
The money supply increased to around EGP 968.4 billion last month of 2019, against EGP 836.04 billion a year earlier.
