Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s domestic liquidity rose slightly at the end of April to EGP 3.762 trillion from EGP 3.724 trillion in March, data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) showed.
Year-on-year, domestic liquidity increased by 11.5% last April, versus EGP 3.379 trillion in the same month a year earlier, according to the CBE.
The most populous Arab state’s money supply jumped to EGP 881.296 billion in April from EGP 862.588 billion in the previous month, data revealed.
It is worth noting that Egypt’s foreign reserves stood at $44.218 billion at the end of April, versus $44.112 billion in March.
