Egypt’s e-finance launches 10 digital pension services

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s e-finance completed an integrated electronic services system for pensioners, the company’s chairman Ibrahim Sarhan said.

The new system will provide pensioners with 10 various services that can be accessed through the interactive voice response (IVR) technology, a specialised pension payment application, or points of sale machines in all branches of the Egyptian Insurance Supervisory Authority (EISA), the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported.

The IVR technology and new pension payment app will allow pensioners to inquire about their account balance, cancel or reissue a lost or stolen card, change password, or ask for a bank statement, Sarhan noted.
