Cairo – Mubasher: The value of the fresh money injected into the establishment of new companies, as well as increasing the capital of existing ones declined by 18% since the beginning of 2016 until last October, said Sherif Samy, the chairperson of the Egyptian Financial Supervisory Authority (EFSA).
The number of permits of establishing new companies in addition to raising the capital of existing one have reached 3.363 worth EGP 71 billion for the ten – month period ended October 2016, up from EGP 58 billion for the same period of the preceding year.
The market capitalization of Egypt’s bourse recorded EGP 413 billion during this ten – month period, down by 3.8% y-o-y.
