Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s Minister of Finance, Mohamed Maait, announced that 650 companies applied for the initiative of the immediate disbursement of overdue subsidies.
Under the initiative, subsidies will be paid in a lump sum before the end of 2020 after deducting 15% of the total amount instead of spreading the payment over four to five years, Maait said in a statement on Thursday.
Companies that joined the initiative can submit their documents to one of the banks participating in the initiative from 30 November until the end of December.
