Cairo – Mubasher: Egyptian exports to the United Arab Emirates rose 224% year-on-year to $2.2 billion in 2016, said Minister of Trade and Industry Tarek Kabil.
Further, imports to Egypt registered $834 million during the same period, the minister added.
The intra-trade between the two countries crossed $3 billion over the past year.
Earlier, Dubai Costumes announced that non-oil trading activities between Egypt and UAE hit AED 952 billion in the first nine months of 2016.
