Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's net foreign reserves rose to $16.560 billion at the end of March, up $27 million compared with a month earlier, the Central Bank of Egypt said on Monday.
Reserves stood at $16.533 billion at the end of February, compared with $16.477 billion at the end of January 2016 and $16.445 billion at the end of December, 2015.
The central bank did not cite reason behind the rise in reserves at a time the country is facing shortage of hard currency due to stalled tourism and export activities.
