Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s net foreign reserves rose to $19.591 billion by the end of September 2016 from $16.564 billion by the end of August, according to a statement by the Central Bank of Egypt on Monday.
By the end of July, reserves stood fell by 11.45% to $15.536 billion after the government paid back an installment of $720 million out of $3.55 billion due to the nineteen-creditor Paris club, along with the $1 billion last installment of the Qatari deposit.
Egypt's total external debt stood at $53.4 billion by the third quarter of the fiscal year 2015/16, according the central bank's database.
