Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s exports of ready-made garments declined by 19.9% year-on-year (YoY) to $1.01 billion in the first nine months of 2020 from $1.261 billion, the Middle East News Agency (MENA) reported on Wednesday, citing official data.
In September, the country’s clothing exports grew by 21% to $142 million from $117 million in August, the Ready-Made Garments Export Council said.
During the third quarter (Q3) of the year, exports of ready-made garments witnessed a remarkable increase to register $393 million, compared to $239 million in Q2-20 and $377 million in Q1-20.
