Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s gold reserves increased by $70 million, or 2.54% month-on-month, at the end of June, data by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) showed.
The North African nation’s reserves of the precious metal valued at $2.82 billion last month, compared to $2.75 billion in May, according to the CBE.
The country’s special drawing right (SDR) of the International Monetary fund (IMF) grew to $453 million last month, versus $448 million in May.
Egypt’s foreign exchange reserve inched up by $76 million in June, compared to May, registering $44.351 billion.
