Cairo – Mubasher: The Egyptian cabinet has approved an agreement with Germany on the technical and financial cooperation with total investments of EUR 150.5 million.
The German government will contribute EUR 48 million for the technical cooperation with Egypt, according to an official statement.
The cooperation is aimed at promoting a group of energy efficiency, educational, waste management projects, in addition to supporting small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs), the Egyptian Cabinet said.
Under the agreement, Egypt’s government will receive EUR 102.5 million financing from the German Development Bank to fund a variety of projects.
