Egypt’s gov’t consents to launch of New Aswan Free Zone

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s cabinet on Wednesday approved the building of a free zone in New Aswan City.

The new project will be located on 187 feddans and will attract $2.3 billion investments, according to a statement.

Planned to create 15,000 jobs, New Aswan’s free zone will lure local and foreign investments and will see the launch of many investment projects including processing, drying, and packing of agricultural yields.
