Egypt’s housing ministry offers 609,000 units in 2018

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's housing ministry has offered a total of 609,000 residential units to all income segments in 2018, the prime minister stated.

Those units included 93,000 units at the social housing project, and 23,000 units at the middle-income housing project, and 28,000 units at the project for the development of unsafe areas, Mostafa Madbouly, who also doubles as the housing minister, added.  

Projects offered at the social housing projects are located at various governorates including Kafr El Sheikh, Beheira, Minya, Port Said, Damietta, along with a host of new cities among them Al Shorouk, Sadat, 10th of Ramadan, and Badr, housing deputy minister Khaled Abbas revealed.

Moreover, the projects offered at the middle-income housing project are located in cities include Al Shorouk, Sadat, 10th of Ramadan, Badr, 6th October, Sheikh Zayed, and  Damietta El-Gadeeda, Abbas said.
