Egypt's inflation falls 0.3% m/m in November

Cairo-Mubasher: Egypt’s consumer price index (CPI) slid 0.3% to 175.6 points in November from a month earlier, the government statistics body said on Thursday.

The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) added that the decline in inflation was mainly attributed to decrease in the prices of vegetables, butane cylinders, meat and poultry.

Meanwhile, the country's CPI rose to 11.8% year-on-year in November.

Egypt's CPI went up 2.3% reaching 176.2 points in September 2015.
