Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s average annual inflation is forecasted to decline to 15% by mid-2018, according to a research note issued by MubasherTrade on Wednesday.
MubasherTraded also expected inflation rate to drop to 25% from 30% in the October-December 2017 period.
The Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) posted that Egypt’s annual inflation rate declined 32.9% year-on-year in September 2017.
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) anticipated Egypt’s average consumer price index (CPI) to fall to 21.3% in fiscal year 2017/2018.
The Egyptian minister of finance Amr El-Garhy forecasted inflation rate to drop in November and December.
