Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s inflation rate is expected to rise slightly and temporarily next July.
This rise would come as a result of applying a number of economic reform measures, Enterprise Press reported, citing deputy finance minister Mohamed Maait.
Inflation rates are likely to carry on declining during May and June 2018, Maait projected.
Egypt plans to ease fuel subsidies to EGP 89.08 billion and slash electricity subsidies to EGP 16 billion in fiscal year 2018/2019.
