Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s index of manufacturing and extractive industries, excluding crude oil and petroleum products, fell by 0.4% to 117.96 points in January from 118.48 points a month earlier.
The index of beverages industry rose by 2.7% to 149.04 points last January from 145.18 points in December 2019, the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS) said in a statement on Tuesday.
On the other hand, the index of printing and copying of recorded media dropped by 20.9% to 98.47 points in January from 124.55 points a month before.
