Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s manufacturing and mining industries index rose in November by 8.8% to reach 129.57 (preliminary), compared with 119.10 (final) in October, said the state-run statistics body.
The Central Agency for Public Mobilization And Statistics (CAPMAS) added that steel manufacturing index increased by 21.8% to 77.09, from 63.27 in October, due to stability in energy supply to plants.
Meanwhile, the foodstuff manufacturing index fell by 0.7% to 142.06, down from 143.06 in October, which was ascribed to shortage in supply of raw materials.
