Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s natural gas output increased by 0.2 billion cubic feet per day (bcfd) to 7 bcfd at the end of June, Reuters reported on Monday, citing a senior official at the country’s Ministry of Petroleum.
In August, Egypt’s petroleum minister Tarek El-Molla revealed that natural gas production at Zohr offshore field grew to 2.7 billion bcfd.
Previously, the government revealed plans to add 950 kilometres of pipelines to the household natural gas network by 2023.
