Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s non-oil exports increased by 11% year-on-year or $2.91 billion during the first ten months of this year.
Egyptian exports recorded $20.64 billion in the January-October period of this year, versus $18.55 billion in the prior-year period, according to a report by the General Organization for Export & Import Control (GOEIC).
Meanwhile, the North African nation’s imports rose by 19% year-on-year, or $9.22 billion, at the end of October, registering $57.76 billion, versus $48.54 billion, the report added.
Egypt’s non-oil trade exchange went up 16.8% year-on-year, or $11.311 billion, during the nine-month period ended October, recording $78.40 billion, compared to $67.96 billion, the GOEIC said.
