Cairo – Mubasher: Total Egyptian non-petroleum exports rose by 14% year-on-year during the first half of 2018, recording $12.75 billion from $11.21 billion.
The North African nation’s exports to the European Union (EU) jumped by 18% in the six-month period to reach $3.65 billion, trade minister Amr Nassar said in a statement on Monday.
Meanwhile, non-oil exports to the Arab markets increased by 5% in H1-18 to $4.77 billion, Nassar highlighted.
He also indicated that exports to the US rose by 11% year-on-year, amounting to $705 million, while exports to the African markets hit $756 million in H1-18, rising 27% year-on-year.
