Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s non-oil imports fell by 13.19% year-on-year (YoY) to $45.55 billion during the first nine months of 2020, compared to $52.47 billion, according to data released by the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
Agricultural and food imports decreased by 12.2% to $10.33 billion during the January-September period from $11.76 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier, the CAMPAS said in a statement on Monday.
China witnessed the highest drop in non-oil exports to Egypt, recording $8.18 billion in the nine-month period from $9.18 billion, followed by the US with $3.43 billion from $3.19 billion and Germany with $2.18 billion from $3.22 billion.
