Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s oil exports grew 41.6% year-on-year during the first nine months of the fiscal year 2018/2019.
The country’s oil exports went up to $8.51 billion July 2018 to the end of March 2019, compared to $6.01 billion in the year-ago period, according to data released by the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) on Thursday.
The CBE ascribed the hike in Egypt’s oil exports to the increase in the exports of natural gas and petroleum products.
Egypt’s non-oil exports grew 1.7% year-on-year in May, the monthly report of the General Organization for Export & Import Control (GOEIC) showed.
