Cairo – Mubasher: The Planning and Budget Committee at the Egyptian Parliament has approved 2019/2020 budget of EGP 2.55 billion, versus EGP 1.4 billion worth of 2018/2019 budget, according to the state-run MENA news agency.
The parliament has approved to amend Law No.182/1960 on combating drugs upon a request from the government.
Moreover, the parliament also agreed to raise pensions by 15% at a minimum rate of EGP 150, setting the minimum rate for pensions at EGP 900.
