Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's parliament is convening today its opening session, for the first time in almost four years since the chamber was dissolved in 2012.
The parliament has 568 elected members while another 28 were appointed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
During the opening session, members of parliament will elect a speaker and his two deputies, as well as committees.
