Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's House of Representative has elected Mohamed Ali Al-Sheikh as the country's new ministry of supply, said Ashraf El-Araby, a member of the Economic Committee, told Mubasher on Sunday.
"The parliament was notified in writing of the president's intention to make a cabinet reshuffle by replacing the resigned minister Khaled Hanafy with General Mohamed Ali Al-Sheikh", El-Araby told Mubasher.
Earlier, Khaled Hanafy announced his resignation on 25 August following corruption reports regarding the wheat supply and misuse of public funds.
