Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s petroleum minister Tarek El-Molla revealed that investments injected to refinery, petrochemical, and infrastructure projects in the oil sector reached EGP 1 trillion.
Projects in operation and those being implemented have witnessed investments worth $32.6 billion and $12.7 billion, respectively, while investments worth $14.7 trillion have been injected to projects that have started implementation, according to a statement released by the cabinet on Sunday.
During fiscal year 2018/2019, the petroleum ministry provided 13.4 million tonnes of diesel, 7.3 million tonnes of gasoline, and 3.9 million tonnes of liquid petroleum gas.
