Egypt’s pharmaceutical exports hit EGP 789m in 2018

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s exports of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies reached EGP 789 million in 2018m the country’s minister of health Hala Zayed said.

The North African nation exported pharmaceuticals and medical supplies worth EGP 65 million to African countries last year, she added in a statement released by the cabinet on Tuesday.

Egypt aims to increase its exports particularly to African countries as part of its initiative to eliminate hepatitis C among one million Africans in coordination with the World Health Organization (WHO), she revealed.
