Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s planning ministry has signed a protocol with Qalaa Holdings and the Nile University (NU) to develop the Egyptian energy sector in line with Vision 2030.
The North African country is planning to increase the usage of solar energy to 16% from 8% and increase the wind energy’s contribution to its energy mix to 14% from 1%, the planning minister Hala el-Saeed said.
The NU’s president Tarek Khalil said that the NU was seeking to support the planning ministry’s mission to realise Egypt’s vision for sustainable development,
