Cairo – Muabsher: Egypt’s Ministry of Supply and Internal Trading will establish 12 logistic zones on a 20-acre area per each zone to cover 50% of the governorates.
Modern shopping centres will be built on a 19-acre area per centre, as well as new malls in each governorate, minister of supply Ali Moselhy said in a statement on Tuesday.
The minister added that 10,000 chains stores, hypermarkets, and retail outlets will be set up on areas range from 300 to 500 metres.
Moselhy noted that the ministry is currently working on linking commercial registry offices, trademarking brands and industrial models, upgrading websites to ease procedures and increase financial return.
