Cairo – Mubasher: The exchange rate of the Egyptian pound against the US dollar remained unchanged both at the Egyptian banks as well as at the parallel market, market dealers told Mubasher.
“The Central Bank of Egypt mostly kept the Egyptian pound unchanged against the US dollar at its regular foreign currency auction on Tuesday, where it offered $120 million in sale,” two banking sources said.
Today’s CBE auction cut-off price for the Egyptian pound stood at 8.78 against the US dollar.
