Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt expects to bolster energy production capacity with 50% by 2017, said President Abdel-Fattah El-Sis.
The cost of solving the country’s energy dilemma in one year amounts to EGP 150 billion, added El-Sis on the sideline of an economic conference to launch the governmental development program "Egypt's vision 2030".
“We solved the problem of gas supplies shortage through contracting two liquid –gas plants, with monthly lease fees amounts to $5 million each,” noted El-Sis.
Meanwhile, the country has completed the development of three new airports with capacity of 1.7 million passengers each, stated El-Sis.
