Cairo – Mubasher: The Ministry of Public Business Sector (MPBS) has announced that its affiliate companies reported EGP 11.3 billion net profit during the fiscal year 2017/2018, compared to EGP 7.4 billion a year earlier.
Revenue of these companies grew 20.8% year-on-year to EGP 102.5 billion in FY17/18, according to a statement released on Wednesday.
The companies’ total exports surged 48% to EGP 16.5 billion in FY17/18, compared to the year earlier.
MPBS is affiliated by 119 companies, which constitute 8 holding companies including the Holding Company for Maritime and Land Transport, Misr Insurance Holding, and Chemical Industries Holding Co.
