Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt's public business sector minister said the ministry’s subsidiaries have achieved EGP 11.3 billion in profits during the last fiscal year 2017/2018.
A total of 48 companies posted losses of EGP 7.2 billion, while other 73 companies recorded profits of EGP 18.5 billion in FY 17/18, Hisham Tawfiq added in a conference on Monday.
The number of employees in the public business sector reached around 215,000 people, the minister previously revealed.
