Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt’s public sector construction and building projects worth EGP 20.6 billion in the fiscal year 2014/15 up 31.3% from EGP 15.7 billion a year earlier, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS).
The value of constructing residential units amounted to EGP 2.4 billion in FY14/15, compared with EGP 1.1 billion a year earlier, with an increase of 127.9%.
The value of the health care buildings amounted to EGP 306 million in FY15/16, up 98.2% from EGP 154 million for the previous year.
