Cairo – Mubasher: The EGX30 main index of the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) closed Tuesday’s session up 1.23% at 11,275.78 points.
The EGX50 EWI added 1.60% to close at 1,924.14 points.
The small- and mid-cap EGX70 EWI rose by 1.89% to 1,853.7 points. Similarly, EGX100 EWI increased by 1.86% to end the session at 2,839.19 points.
EGX’s turnover totalled EGP 1.03 billion after 298.77 million shares were traded. The market cap value amounted to EGP 710.89 billion.
As for trading on securities, Egyptian and Arab investors were net buyers with EGP 8.60 million and EGP 55.69 million, respectively, while foreign traders were net sellers with EGP 64.29 million.
